The renowned golf course architect, Sune Linde, has designed both Kallfors and Järna golf courses. Mr. Linde has developed over thirty golf courses in Sweden, none more successfully then here at Kallfors. Mr. Linde has utilized the rolling terrain of Sörmland to create a provocative golfing challenge with the variety of elevated tees and undulating greens that demand full attention to ball placement.

At Kallfors, we believe in quality and you will see that in our use of oak furniture and the fabrics and wall paper from Ralph Lauren. You sleep will be comfortable and restful on beds and mattresses from Sweden's most recognized premier bed maker, HÄstens.

Green Fees
All golfers are welcome to play with us. Players on the 18 and 9 hole courses need a handicap of 35 or less. A higher handicap or the casual golfer can play at our sister club, Järna GK that is only 200 yards from us.

How to Get Here
Take the E-4 towards Järna. After exiting at Järna, drive through the city center and turn right at the church. Drive straight through the roundabout, then take the right turn towards Södertälje. After about 500 meters, the entrance to Kallfors Golf Club will be on the left.
History
In 1995, Lars Flyning, along with his children, founded Kallfors Golf Club. Kallfors Golf Club is situated 35 minutes south of Stockholm, between Södertälje and Järna. The first 18 holes opened in 1999 and after that continued to grow every year.
In 2000, our sister club, Järna Golf Club opened. This public 9-hole course is open to all players and offers an inexpensive membership plan.
That was followed by the expansion of the clubhouse at Kallfors. Included in the expansion were a bigger restaurant, the club’s business offices and the professional golf shop. It was to that thought that 9 more holes were an obvious decision. The new holes were opened in 2003 for better availability and quality of play for the members and our guests.
The Kallfors Golf Club Hotel opened its doors during the 2006 golf season. With its 17 guest rooms and two conference rooms, in addition to the existing rooms in the clubhouse, the hotel can accommodate activities and meetings all year round. The Kallfors Golf Club Hotel can handle meetings for one or more days. In addition, we are developing and constructing many villas and privately owned housing in close proximity to the golf course.

Kallfors Golf Club has for several years in a row been acknowledged as the best golf course in Sörmland. In October 2009, Kallfors will be host to the SAS Masters Tour Finals. We at Kallfors are pleased to accept this honor and the recognition given to the quality of our golf course.
